Maria Liebl, MS, LMFT

  • I have been practicing as a bilingual, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for more than ten years. I have specialized in work with children and their families and very much love helping parents and guardians create a more joyful parenting experience for themselves by using a conscious parenting approach. I enjoy working with couples on strengthening communication and connection. I am passionate about working with people who experience PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I recognize the importance of making it through difficult moments by processing one’s experience. I have a trauma informed perspective and I help people using EMDR, CBT and mindfulness techniques.

  • Therapy should be a space that encourages clients to grow to become their most conscious self. I believe in supporting people while they find their own truths. Using research-based methods, such as EMDR, I help clients work through traumas that have created barriers in their lives. My trauma informed lens has helped me understand that my role as a therapist is to join and support my clients as they do the work of self-discovery and healing.

  • I have found working with people who have experienced trauma to be the most rewarding; I feel honored to be able to help people heal from PTSD or childhood experiences that keep them from living free in their full potential. I also enjoy working with parents, joining with them in their journey of self-growth through their own parenting. I support couples in creating better communication, strengthening connections, and finding renewed joy in their relationships.

I offer in person and Telehealth sessions. Please contact our office to see if I’m seeing new clients.

“Often it’s the adjustment of our expectations, rather than reality itself, that’s the hurdle we have to leap.”
