Leeann Katzfey, MSW, LCSW, SASA
My Specialties
I utilize a blend of traditional therapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, in addition to body-based techniques such as Brainspotting, mindfulness approaches and grounding techniques. Brainspotting is an effective treatment that can facilitate rapid change and healing. It works to identify, process and release sources of emotional pain and trauma in the brain and body. I believe that a holistic approach involving the mind and body can be very beneficial for change.
My Therapy Beliefs
My goal is to offer a safe and compassion-filled space for my clients to feel heard and supported. I enter every therapeutic relationship with an open mind and a client-centered approach. I want to help my clients to reach the goals that they have. I thoroughly enjoy learning about my client’s beliefs and life experiences in order to work towards those goals.
My Clients
I work with adults and older adolescents. My specialties and areas of interest include anxiety, trauma and PTSD, prenatal and postpartum periods, parenting support, relationship issues/codependency and self-esteem and body image issues. I also have experience working with substance use disorders.
Please contact our office to see if I’m seeing new clients.

“She is a beautiful piece of broken pottery, put back together by her own hands. And a critical world judges her cracks while missing the beauty of how she made herself whole again.“
